yeah, .. after alot of messing around, i realized that its just as simple as setting the background of the hovernav div, to what ever you want the water mark to be.

Is there a simple way to have the lightbox, display the tital and description from the gallery?

You'd have to look into your specific lytebox script's docs. Most use the title attribute like my jQuery mediaBlock.

is there a get command for the description do you know?
like the get.Title($item)

tryd getDescription($item) -- but no joy.

mediaBlock's display functions are passed GalleryItem objects.
if the $item is the correct type it will contain the getDescription() method.

Look through the code to see the patterns.
