My gallery tmp directory is filling up with fmpg_ files that don't delete after transcoding.

I tried to transcode 2 movies and found that there were 10 of these files that remained. Why aren't they being deleted? The tmp dir has 777 chmod permissions on it.

They should have no size, so they should not cause any issue.
They are probably the result of the keyframe log ffmpeg attempts to write.
I had 460 of them myself.

Oh ok... so is there a way to unlink those files? Even though they have zero size it is taking my ftp client (with directory cache off) some time to list them when I browse to the tmp dir. There are quite a few of these files due to my transcoding of 5000 odd video clips. Anyway thanks for the reply...

ffmpeg/classes/FfmpegToolkit.class line~229 just before the break; add:

PHP Formatted Code

foreach ( new DirectoryIterator($gallery->getConfig('data.gallery.base').'tmp/') as $fileinfo) {
    if ($fileinfo->isFile() && preg_match('/fmpg_/', $fileinfo->getFilename())) {
        @$platform->unlink($fileinfo->getPathname());
    }
}

PHP5.x is required for DirectoryIterator.class
