Hi, so I'm trying to get minislide show to scroll through images on my website. I'm sure I've done it all right but its just not working Frown ill leave you guys to point out my errors:

Website its on: http://www.carterstreetdisplay.bugs3.com/

mediaRss (line 30):

PHP Formatted Code
$ret = GalleryEmbed::init(array('fullInit' => true, 'embedUri' => '/gallery2/main.php', 'g2Uri' => '/gallery2/'));

Embed code:
PHP Formatted Code
<embed src="http://www.carterstreetdisplay.bugs3.com/settings/gallery2/minislideshow.swf" width="600" height="460" frameBorder="0" style="position: absolute; top: 215px; left: 25px; border:3px solid #ffffff;" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" name="minislide" wmode="transparent" allowFullscreen="false" allowScriptAccess="always" quality="high" flashvars="xmlUrl=http://www.carterstreetdisplay.bugs3.com/settings/gallery2/mediaRss.php?g2_itemId=7&shuffle=true&delay=5&fullscreenIcon=false&showControls=false&useFull=true"></embed>

What am I doing wrong?

I'm using Gallery 2.3.2, I do not wish to upgrade but will if its the problem.

Cheers,
Tom

You should be using the new jQuery Minislideshow. The old flash version does not display on mobile devices.

Ok so I updated to jQuery Minislideshow but I have no idea how to use it. http://www.carterstreetdisplay.bugs3.com/ it still just a spinning logo but now I cant position it how I want or but I border on it, but I can figure that out later, for now I need to get this slideshow working!

Embed:

PHP Formatted Code
<div id="left">
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.js"></script>
<script src="/js/jquery.minislideshow.4.0.min.js"></script>
<script>
jQuery('#left').minislideshow({
        provider: 'xml',
        url: 'http://www.carterstreetdisplay.bugs3.com/settings/mediaRss.php?g2_itemId=7',
        width: 600,
        height: 460,
        delay: 6,
        radius: '10px',
        shuffle: true
});
</script>
</div>

mediaRss.php:
PHP Formatted Code
$ret = GalleryEmbed::init(array('fullInit' => true, 'embedUri' => '/gallery2/main.php', 'g2Uri' => '/gallery2/'));

Still on Gallery 2.3.2

Sorry for the delay, I tried to check your link from work but it is blocked. And then I forgot till now.

http://www.carterstreetdisplay.bugs3.com/settings/mediaRss.php?g2_itemId=7 has errors. it needs to be in gallery's root directory(same directory as embed.php)

But you should use rest.php instead. just place it in gallery's root, no need to edit.
http://www.carterstreetdisplay.bugs3.com/settings/gallery2/rest.php

PHP Formatted Code

<div id="left"></div>
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="/js/jquery.minislideshow.4.0.min.js"></script>
<script>
jQuery('#left').minislideshow({
        provider: 'rest',
        url: 'http://www.carterstreetdisplay.bugs3.com/settings/gallery2/rest.php?g2_itemId=7',
        width: 600,
        height: 460,
        delay: 6,
        radius: '10px',
        shuffle: true
});
</script>
